Past Iterations.

Most of my day has been spent working alongside Starfleet, who are currently utilizing one of the primary decks on our orbital platform. Given that Docosie III sits right on the ragged edge of Federation space, it serves as an ideal location for a communication hub tasked with routing telemetry to and from deep-space exploration vessels.

In fact, plans are already underway to deploy a small, unmanned relay station at the very perimeter of the Docosie system to extend our reach even further. I have to admit, spending so much time around Starfleet officers, and seeing those familiar division colors, invariably brings memories of both Jadzia and Ezri rushing to the surface.

The uniforms themselves have evolved quite a bit since Ezri wore one. Yet, with every design iteration, Starfleet somehow manages to maintain that signature balance: a clean, elegant aesthetic that still commands an undeniable sense of professionalism.

To top off the day, I had a wonderful lunch with a Starfleet officer, now a Captain, who actually served aboard the USS Aventine back when Ezri commanded her. It was deeply comforting to catch up and reminisce. I still remember him when he was just a green cadet, fresh-faced and eager. Some things never change, though; he still takes his coffee exactly the same way he did all those years ago.
