From Trill to Risa: A Small Universe After All.
Over lunch today, I had a good, long chat with my parents over subspace. We talked about the honeymoon, and I shared every picture we took, which they have already stored in the family archives.
We spoke about any interesting things happening on the homeworld, and from what I can gather, there isn't a great deal going on. I suppose, as they say, no news is good news.
The only bit of interesting information was that my sister now has a partner. Apparently, the two met on a trip to Risa.
What makes it strange, though, is that he is from a town only 8 km from where my sister lives. There is a good chance they may have crossed paths before, but it took a trip light-years from Trill for them to actually meet.
It seems that throughout my nine lifetimes, the fact that the universe works in very mysterious ways keeps reaffirming itself. It definitely keeps you on your toes and certainly makes life interesting.
