Coffee, Chat, and Cultivation.
On my walk this morning with Ranih, I realised we hadn't seen Benjamin and Alora Bashir for a while. Not that it's an issue, they have their own lives, after all, and I am only connected to them through my previous host, Ezri, Benjamin's mother.
When we got to the coffee shop in the central complex, guess who was already there? Benjamin and Alora. They waved to us as we got our beverages and invited us to join them.
They have settled in very well but are still working on decorating their home and garden. Ranih suggested that I could be of help, but I smiled and reminded her that I am already committed to keeping James and Jean's garden from going wild.
Benjamin thanked Ranih for the recommendation but said he had it well in hand. It turns out both of us are looking for a water feature for our gardens, but we have yet to find one that's suitable.
After Benjamin and Alora left, Ranih and I had another coffee while browsing water feature designs on my PADD. It made me ponder whether our favourite artist, Ludo Finster, might be persuaded to create a custom piece for us.
