Business as Usual (Almost).

After yesterday's unusual occurrence, today has been rather normal. Nothing remotely unusual happened.

Four new groups of residents arrived today to move into their new homes—the ones that had been empty for a few months to allow the maintenance team to complete minor refit work.

The orbital platform also underwent a selection of refits today, focusing particularly on the main shuttlebay and docking ports.

I processed most of the documents for our new colonists and met with them all individually to discuss their move to Docosie III and answer any questions they had.

Construction at the colony's northern expansion area is proceeding well. Before any above-surface structures can be built, all of the underground infrastructure must be completed.

This includes the storm drainage system, underground walkways, and all power and communication links, all of which need to be connected to the existing systems.

Since the original colony was constructed, a number of improvements have been made to the underground systems, so these will all be part of the northern expansion area from the beginning.

James marked his report on yesterday's bizarre occurrence with the initials NIW (No Idea Whatsoever). He's not the only one.
