Almost Authentic.

I will put a disclaimer out first. All the ingredients were replicated so when you see what I made, you might beg the question, why not just replicate the whole thing already made and ready to eat? A good and honest question. 

The answer is simple. Where is the challenge and the fun in that?  I did have to use old style kitchen equipment so I could cook the filling and bake the pies but I still made the filling and the pastry from scratch. 

A replicated pie would look exactly the same every time. Each one of these is unique as they don't all have exactly the same amount of filling or glazing on the top. Of course I tried to make them uniformed but they're not.

Looking forward to trying one later.
